What is your role at Showtime Event Group?
I am currently working as an event producer, mainly corporate events in Showtime and Cargo Hall
How long have you been a part of the team at Showtime?
I actually started as a food and beverage attendant 5 years ago, and then stepped up to Operations Manager within 3 years. Over the past couple of years I have been working in sales and producing end to end events.
What’s your favourite colour skittle?
Definitely green
How many events do you think you have been a part of over your career?
Hundreds. We do roughly 4 – 5 events a week across the two venues, so over 5 years that’s close to 1,000 or more
What do you like to do in your time off?
I’m a massive sports fan. Storm is my team and I’ve been a member for quite a while. So I’m at every home game.
Black-tie event, do you go with a classic tie, or a bow tie?
Tie. I am someone that is in a tie every day of the week. I like to look sharp.
What are your favourite types of events to plan?
I like the events with a lot of moving parts. Any event that is different from the next, and at Showtime Event Group that is pretty much standard as we push the envelope on everything we do.
What song is guaranteed to get you on the dance floor?
Depends on my mood, It can be a slow song, or an electric dance track.
What is your go-to knock-off drink?
Beer. Or Bubbles if I’m drinking with someone particular.
What’s the most fun part of your job?
Working with the close friend’s that I have developed over the years. Showtime Event Group is a family and I have made some amazing relationships with the team that have taught me so much.
If you could attend the Oscars with any celebrity who would it be?
Probably a Hemsworth.
You have done quite a bit of travel, where in the world is your favourite spot to relax?
There is too many to choose from, whether it’s in Vietnam sitting on a small plastic stool drinking an ice cold 30 cent Bia hơi. Lying on the beach in South Africa, or even holding on for dear life on Maho Beach.
